Laser diode sensors combine the alignment advantages of a visible sensing beam with the increased sensing range of a laser. They operate on dc or ac/dc (universal voltage). Class 1 and Class 2 devices are available.
   
 
LG Series
Self-contained Class 2 visible laser gauging sensor with both analog and discrete (switched) outputs. Resolution is better than 10 microns. The sensing window can be resized and placed anywhere within the 45.0 to 60.0 mm sensing distance, with a minimum window size of 1.5 mm.

LT3
Utilizes a timed pulse technology to achieve long distance measurement. About 1 million pulses per second to be exact, which places the LT3 in the category of a highly accurate gauging sensor. The sensor's laser beam is able to detect very small parts at a substantial distance.

The LT7 Long-Range Time-of-Flight Laser Sensor. The sensor has an LCD display and 3 push buttons, which control all programming functions. Serial interface programming can also be accomplished, via SSI or RS422. Four status indicator LEDs on the sensor front/top provide ongoing status of power and outputs.

QS18LD
The World Beam QS18LD Laser sensor is a visible Class 1 laser sensor for diffuse sensing. The QS18LD has a narrow effective beam for small object detection and precise position control.

The QS18LLP Polarized Retroreflective Laser Sensor. This sensor is excellent for applications where high sensing power and small beam size are important. The QS18LLP uses a special filter to polarize the emitted light, filtering out unwanted reflections from shiny objects.
